SunGard Sherwood Systems Maintains Quality Rating

For the eleventh year in succession SunGard Sherwood Systems was awarded continued certification under the ISO 9001:2000 standard and TickIT scheme.

LONDON [28th May 2004] – SunGard Sherwood Systems, an operating unit of SunGard (NYSE: SDS) today announced that it has successfully completed its regular six-month external quality assessment and continues to comply with the International Standards Organisation (ISO) requirements in relation to the 9001:2000 standard using TickIT procedures.

SunGard uses the British Standards Institution (BSI) as its external quality auditor. Neil Hannah, Managing Director of BSI Management Systems (UK), said: "SunGard Sherwood Systems has transitioned to the latest standard and continued to maintain quality of delivery and services throughout the transition. SunGard Sherwood Systems continually demonstrates the commitment and professionalism required to meet the stringent standards laid down by the ISO and TickIT so that it can both maintain and improve upon its customer and supplier relationships."

The quality accreditation has been awarded to all four UK sites and covers every aspect of the business including the development, supply, installation and maintenance of computer software products for financial, government, insurance and assurance markets.
